My school questions
A new classroom can bring lots of questions. This free starting-school printable gives your child space to show what they are curious about, even if writing is still a grown-up’s job.

Try it together
- Ask: “What would you like to find out about school?” Give your child time to choose their own idea.
- Invite them to draw it in the first box. A few marks, a picture or words spoken aloud all count.
- Draw a grown-up they could ask. Write down the question in your child’s own words and keep it for your next school conversation.
A few ways to begin
“What might you like to play with?”
“Who could you ask to show you around?”
“Is there something you would like to tell your teacher?”
